Gig @ Brighton Frocks
I was asked recently by my friend Liz Bishop to play at a fashion show she was organising, and it turned out to be one hell of an event (with one hell of an afterparty - didn't fully recover for 2 days..).

I played Accordian outside on the lawn, as the queue walked in - performing the majority of the accordion tracks from the Amelie soundtrack - La Valse d'Amelie, L'autre valse d'Amelie, La Noyee, A Quai, La Valse des Monstres, Soir de Fete - I had some great compliments, a few people dancing, and at least 5 or 6 people asking me if I was playing Amelie..!

If you were playing Yann Tiersen on the street, I wouldn't ask you what you are playing, I would just jump and kiss you hahaha!!

Je t'ai découvert sur youtube, par hasard en cherchant la vidéo de ghinzu "the dragster-wave"...
Etant donné que j'aime beaucoup Yann Tiersen notemment grâce au film "le fabuleux destin d'amélie Poulain", et aussi que tu joues très bien (On croirait vraiment que C toi qui a composé la chanson, il n'y a aucune fausse note tout est parfait!) j'ai été voir toutes tes vidéos et j'ai trouvé ton blog.
J'adore ta dégaine, tu es un vrai artiste.
Continue comme ça, et continue à nous faire vibrer avec ton talent.
Bonne chance même si tu ne doit pas comprendre un seul mot de français.

hi this is Acid who is come from HK! i luv Yann Tiersen so much. Thz for playing those pretty music, they made me started reminiscing of Amelie..it was so sweet. I am go to UK at Sept, and see if i can see your live in Brighton!
